Coaching
is now accepted as an integral part of an organisation’s
Training & Development programme.
Whilst
many Managers would see themselves as coaches to their
teams, the dedicated ‘one to one’ relationship
that exists between a Coach and the person they are
working with is very special.
Coaching
is most fruitful when the Coach has an external perspective
to contribute and the employee is not inhibited by the
‘boss/subordinate relationship’ which already
exists and the knowledge that his/her manager has some
say and control in his/her future at work.
Coaching
can provide an excellent return on investment both as
a retention tool and a morale booster/re-motivator for
staff who may not have realised that they are valued.
